Your actors have the training. Now they need someone in their corner for the career stuff, too. What If Every Actor in Your Program Had a Career Strategist on Speed Dial?
Above the Line is a personalized AI coaching suite that handles the part no school has enough hours in the day for: career strategy tailored to every single actor.
You know what your actors need. You see it every day. They come in talented, they work hard, they grow. And then they go out into the world with high hopes and no real plan and they hit the same wall that every actor eventually hits: they don't know how to get in front of the people who hire. Or, even if they can get in front of them, they don't know how to make them see what they're truly capable of and that they deserve to be given the opportunity to audition for bigger and better roles.
It's not because they haven't been taught well. It's because career strategy is a whole separate thing from craft, and it requires a level of individual, personalized attention that no school on the planet can give to every single actor who walks through the door. Not because you don't want to. Because there literally aren't enough hours in the day.
Besides, every actor's career bottleneck is different. One person needs to completely rethink their positioning. Another one has a solid brand but zero connections to the people who can actually hire them. Someone else has all the pieces but can't figure out why they're still invisible. Sorting through all of that takes one-on-one time that just doesn't scale.
THE PAIN
You feel stretched thin because your actors need more support than you realistically have time to give.
You feel frustrated because you're repeating the same guidance over and over but it's still not enough to move them forward.
You know your actors need support between sessions but your schedule is already maxed out.
You feel that pressure because your actors' success reflects on you, but you can't be there for every audition, every decision, every step.
Maybe you've tried building "office hours" into your schedule or brought in coaches to teach a workshop or even for a semester, but that doesn't quite get there because every micro-stage of an actor's career needs a different fix tailored to THAT actor.
This is an industry that needs specificity. Specificity with performance choices and specificity with career choices. Otherwise actors end up doing what everyone else is doing and wondering why it's not working. They end up doubting their talent and maybe even their career choice, which breaks your heart and doesn't reflect well on what you teach, though no fault of your own.
To overcome the fact that your actors need more support than you can realistically give them day to day, you need a way to deliver consistent, personalized coaching that's available 24/7 and adapts to each actor's unique needs.
INTRODUCING ABOVE THE LINE
The best and easiest way to give every actor in your program the kind of individual career coaching that actually moves the needle is to put a fully personalized coaching system in their hands that delivers tailored guidance exactly when they need it.
Introducing Above the Line by Act Bold, an AI coaching platform led by River, an AI coach I've personally trained on everything I've learned from coaching hundreds of actors around the world. River provides 24/7, deeply personalized support, helping every actor identify their unique roadblocks and take clear, confident action towards their goals without adding a single thing to your workload.
She doesn't sleep. She doesn't lose her patience. And she doesn't forget what your actors' dreams are or where they are on their journey so they can get exactly what's missing when they need it.
Hey, I’m Anne!
I spent 20 years as a working actor, even had my health insurance paid for by SAG but honestly, I had no clue what I was doing to be in that position. Flash forward 16 years and I'm now living in Germany working acting adjacent doing voice over and commercials, very successfully, and I decide to relaunch my acting career, the REAL one where I actually get to act. Slight problem: I have no current showreel material, no contacts, and even less of a clue. And add to that I'm now almost 50 years old and speak German with an American accent and you've got a perfect combination of "forget it."
Still, not to be deterred, I figured it out. I've since gone on to work for studios like Netflix, A24, and Hallmark, all from Munich, Germany. I've built up 48 credits on IMDb and another 98 on Crew United (Europe's answer to IMDb).
I've taught hundreds of actors all around the world how to get into the rooms that matter so they can get better roles and auditions through my programs Get Better Roles and The Curator Academy. I've got a podcast where I share advice every week to help empower actors. I've taught at ISFF in Berlin, been a keynote speaker at WeAudition Actors Pro Expo, the Think Bigger Summit for Actors, and The Houde School of Acting's Summit. I've contributed articles to Spotlight in the UK.
The same problems keep popping up everywhere I go, but the humans behind them make their solutions unique. There is no pat answer, no "just go do this and you'll be fine." If there were, 98% of SAG actors wouldn't be unemployed.
I am on a mission to empower as many actors as possible with the understanding and the tools they need to get control over their careers because I've been that helpless actor wondering why, if I keep doing all the right things, nothing is working. And I discovered that being able to talk it through so you can learn to spot your own roadblocks and then create a strategy to get past them is the fastest way to build a sustainable acting career that you love.
That's why I built Above the Line and trained River to do what I do, but for every actor, any time of day, with the kind of specificity that no single human coach could ever scale.
WHAT YOUR ACTORS GET
River doesn't just give answers. She helps your actors feel seen, understood, and clear on exactly what to do next. That's the difference between a tool that spits out generic advice and one that actually moves careers forward.
Here's what that looks like:
An AI coach trained specifically for actors so your actors receive guidance rooted in real industry experience that actually understands their world, not career advice that could apply to anyone with a LinkedIn profile.
Deep, human-like insight so your actors feel truly seen and validated instead of confused or overlooked. River listens to what they say and picks up on what they're not saying to uncover the real reasons they're stuck, even the ones they can't articulate themselves.
Personalized brand clarity so your actors don't just "find their type" but own a clear, specific identity that makes them memorable. River takes what makes each actor unique and makes their brand even stronger.
Guided self-discovery modules so each actor is quickly assessed and supported based on their specific needs, goals, and where they actually are right now instead of spinning in circles trying to figure it out alone.
Audition and role preparation so your actors make bold, specific choices that showcase who they actually are instead of playing it safe and blending in with everyone else in the room.
Headshot and personal marketing guidance so your actors present themselves in a way that aligns with how they should actually be cast, and stop wasting money on materials that are working against them.
Authentic pitching and relationship-building support so your actors can confidently put themselves in front of decision-makers in a way that feels natural instead of awkward and forced.
Consistent, ongoing support so no actor falls through the cracks between sessions, classes, or anything else on your already packed schedule.
WHAT CHANGES FOR YOU
After your actors start using Above the Line, here's what you'll actually see:
You'll watch them become more confident and self-directed instead of waiting for you to tell them what to do next.
You'll notice fewer of the same questions coming up over and over because they're getting answers in real time.
You'll see them making stronger, more specific choices in auditions and actually booking from those choices.
You'll feel relief knowing they're getting support even when you're not available, which means you can stop carrying the guilt of not being enough for everyone.
You'll see actors finally "click" into who they are and start marketing themselves with real clarity instead of the usual scattered approach.
And honestly? You'll feel proud of the level of support you're able to offer without it costing you your sanity.
the investment
To give each of your actors this level of personalized, ongoing support manually, you'd need hours of additional coaching time every week or you'd need to hire multiple coaches or dramatically increase your overhead. And that's before you factor in the cost of lost opportunities when actors stay stuck, plateau, or fall through the cracks.
With Above the Line, you're giving every single actor access to a deeply personalized, always-available coach without adding a single hour to your schedule.
We're offering this introductory rate to our first 10 partner schools while we onboard and refine the platform. Once those spots are filled, pricing increases to $47 per actor per month for all new partners.
As a founding partner, you lock in the $37 rate for the lifetime of your account, even as you add more actors over time. Your program grows from 10 actors to 50? Still $37. That's the deal for being early.
You'll also get early access to new tools and features as they're developed, giving your actors an edge before they're released more widely.
Not a school? If you're an agent or manager, let's talk about how to get your roster access at the founding rate
Still have questions? Click below to book your onboarding call with Marc. He'll walk you through exactly how Above the Line works, answer any questions you have, and help you get everything set up for your actors.
BUT WAIT, IS THIS ACTUALLY GOING TO ADD MORE WORK?
No. That's the whole point. You're not adding more coaching hours. You're not hiring another staff member. You're not learning a new platform that takes six months to set up. You're giving your actors access to something that works independently of your time and energy. They use it when they need it. You check in when you want to. River does the heavy lifting.

QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE
-
10 is the minimum. You can add more at any time and they come in at the same founding rate.
-
Marc will walk you through everything on a call. Each actor gets their own login and starts with guided self-discovery modules that get River up to speed on who they are, where they're stuck, and what they're working towards. It takes about 20 minutes for an actor to get started
-
Yes, and they'll come in at your founding rate. That rate is locked to your account, not to a specific number of actors.
-
River builds a picture of each actor through their interactions. She remembers what they've said, what they're working on, what their brand is, and where they are on their journey. Every response is based on THAT actor's specific situation.
-
No. Above the Line handles career strategy and positioning. You handle craft. They complement each other. Think of it as the career side of the education that most programs don't have the bandwidth to cover individually.
-
River is a conversation, not a complicated platform. If they can text a friend, they can use River.
-
The conversations actors have with River get pretty personal, so a live demo wouldn't do it justice. But we can give you your own private access to try River yourself before you commit. That way you experience exactly what your actors would get, on your own time, at your own pace.
