The Art of Improvisation- A Creative Journey in Indie Film Making

I recently had a great chat with Ivan and Sarah from Zagreb who specialize in making films without scripts—just story outlines. They're the brains behind Nexus Production Group, and have a knack for spinning stories on screen in a way that's all their own.

Their process is super unique, with extensive rehearsals that allow actors to deeply connect with their characters, bringing a slice of real life to the screen. It's all about making those performances feel genuine and relatable.

We also covered their journey from Malta to Zagreb, their challenges during the pandemic, their documentary "Cats on Malta," and insights into the indie film scene.

They’re all about micro-budget films, putting the power back into the hands of actors and filmmakers. Plus, they have great advice on editing and character development. They also share their knowledge through courses aimed at micro-budget filmmakers. They’ve even written a book, "The Art of Improvisation," available on Amazon, to help indie filmmakers harness the power of improv.

If you're an actor or filmmaker looking for inspiration and practical advice on indie filmmaking, their journey and methods are definitely worth checking out! Watch the full interview here.

They have a strong presence on social media and run a website where they share insights and updates about their projects.
