How to Balance Being a Parent and an Acting Career

Recently, I was a guest on Keeping Up With Chaos from The Booth and Boyond, where I joined Gabby, Angela, and Jozlyn to dive into the chaotic yet rewarding journey of balancing family life and an acting career. We got real about what it takes to pursue acting dreams while raising a family—something I know all too well. After years of putting my kids and husband first, I realized I needed to shift gears and make space for myself and my passions. Spoiler alert: It’s not easy, but it’s worth it.

We talked about everything from solo parenting while building a career to handling rejection (because let’s be real, actors know rejection better than anyone). One key lesson? Take imperfect action. You can’t wait for things to be perfect before you start—whether it’s sending in self-tapes, building your brand, or finding your voice. Every step forward counts, even if it’s messy.

So if you’re an actor juggling auditions, side gigs, and real life, this episode is for you. We talk about mindset, staying resilient, and why you should never stop investing in yourself, no matter how chaotic things get.

Until next time, you stay your bold and beautiful self,

Anne.
